Hello friends,
Yesterday was the 1st Gate of Venus’ ascent from the underworld and for many of us, the last stage of our Venus Return. While Venus has been difficult to see without a clear horizon, the thin sliver of the moon was just visible in the red-orange glow of sunset last evening.
Interestingly, I was a guest of Brenda Black on her show, Your Astrology Now via Achieve Radio . What a way to celebrate my Venus Return cycle out of the trappings of the underworld!
Beyond the first gate, There are 7 more gates (where Venus and the Moon meet in the night sky) for this stage of synodic cycle before she goes retrograde and ducks back into the underworld in late May of 2012. Yesterday marked the time where Venus symbolically received her life. On October 27th, she will don her royal robe. Acknowledge and welcome her to the middle world when you scan the western horizon over the next several months, especially when she is next to the moon!
