Tonight, Jupiter and the waxing Moon will be in a extremely close conjunction in the night sky in the sign of Gemini. This is a rare opportunity to experience two well-known objects in such closeness.  Jupiter will be expanding the Moon’s link to our lineage, family and early life.  It is a great time to honor our own early experiences and and dance in the creativity of the present.

To find it, look almost straight up after the light of sunset fades.  Jupiter will be on “top” of the Moon, depending on one’s point of view.  Close by is the star, Aldebaran in the constellation of the Bull.  It has a fairly easy to spot, “V” with Aldebaran marking the “eye” of the Bull.
