Our first breath of life and the moment we enter into this world we have the gifts, elements, tools and spark to launch into the world. Shamanic Astrology is a body of knowledge that can be of immense help in understanding our soul’s intent and the phases of life.

In this class you will learn the basics of Shamanic Astrology, which include summaries of each sign, the 4 elements, our lineage, tools and what symbolizes ‘life purpose’ in an astrology chart.

Shamanic Astrology 101 is built for anyone wanting basic knowledge of an astrology chart, its signs and the flow ofHow an Astrology Chart Moves one’s life path from the lineage (the Moon) to the Soul’s Intent (Rising Sign/Ascendant). We will cover the qualities of the twelve houses and four elements as well as the 3 modalities. Summaries of each of the 12 signs will also be presented and an assortment of materials that describe the above will be shared with the class.

All of the descriptions will be based on the paradigm of Shamanic Astrology as originally created by Daniel Giamario from the 1980s.

  • What is Shamanic Astrology?
  • The Elements and Modalities
  • The Script of Shamanic Astrology (consisting of your Lineage, Tools/Equipment and Life Training/Purpose)
  • How to Use and Read a Basic Astrology Chart
  • Drawing your Own Astrology Chart (Activity)
During my presentation, I will refer to your charts as examples so each of you can better understand the material.

This class will count towards continuing education for your OBMT license.

    Erik, is this class available as an online class? It sounds like you have worked out a great format for an introduction to Shamanic Astrology. What is a OBMT license?

    Hi Emma, I was very sick for many days and have now recovered so I apologize for the delay in responding. The class is not available as an online course as I don’t want to compete with SAMS. The OBMT license is for massage therapists licensed in the State of Oregon.
