On Saturday, February 1st, at 12:48pm, Venus will be resuming its direct motion after about two days of being “stationary” in the
early morning sky. This next chapter of the Venus story is when Venus begins her descent into the “underworld”, as told by the ancient Sumerians, Akkadians, Assyrians and beyond. The journey to the underworld is fraught with with decisions about what and how to release our unhealthy attachments around the feminine, be it in our projections, psyche or in the body itself (regarding our physical health, especially for women).
The descent is the approach to the first gate of the underworld, taking place later on the early morning of February 25th. This first gate focuses on the crown chakra. Between now and then is a time to look at any distortions we have around our personal or projected responsibility and authority or what we find ourselves in charge around the feminine. The direct motion of Venus in Capricorn begins setting the intent and tone going forward. What are your ideas of the feminine? What do they symbolize?
