Venus reappears in the morning sky on January 17, initiating a new 19-month cycle of the Divine Feminine. Venus will rise in the sign Capricorn – the Crone, ancient feminine wisdom, and the Council of 13 Grandmothers – and these archetypes will be powerful forces during the new cycle. Learn the meaning of this Venusian rebirth, and participate in a community ritual to honor the Divine Feminine in all of us and to call in the highest expression of this auspicious planetary event. 2nd Event: In-Depth Exploration of Venus’s Cycle and How It Applies to You
Saturday, January 18, 1:00-5:00pm at Emily Trinkaus’ office on E. Burnside
In this workshop, we’ll delve into the details of Venus’s new cycle, including what it means for you personally. You’ll learn about Venus’s synodic cycle – how she appears in the night sky – from the perspective of Shamanic Astrology, including how it relates to the myth of Inanna. You’ll find out which area of your own birth chart (and your own life) is being activated by Venus’s new cycle, as well as specific times during the cycle that are especially potent and how to work with them. We’ll create vision boards to set our intentions for how we want to embody these emerging Divine Feminine energies in our lives for the next 19 months.
All are welcome, including beginning students of astrology. Please provide your birth info (date, time, place) upon registration, as we’ll be working with your birth chart. Space is limited to 8 participants, pre-registration required, $70 paid in advance.
